IF YOU CAN'T BE WITH THE ONE YOU LOVE, LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH . . .

The recent republican primaries remind me of my senior prom . . .

I fantasized for weeks, hoping that perhaps the captain of the football team or the president of the student council would approach me . . .

Three days before the prom—the boy who sat in front of me passed me a scribbled note that read: "You goin’ to the prom?" I shook my head, "no." He passed another scribble, "Wanna go with me?" I nodded, "ok."

That was it. He had not spoken to me once during the year. Three days later, he passed me another note asking me what color dress I would be wearing and saying that he would pick me up at 6:30 p.m.

He brought a corsage, met my parents; we posed for photos. We went to the prom, we danced a few dances; he took me for ice cream, brought me home on time and walked me to the door. He never tried to kiss me . . . He never spoke to me again until graduation. In hindsight, I had a lovely time.

The elections of 2012 are similar . . . it is NOT a year for trying to pick the perfect candidate. There is no “McDreamy” in the running. Whether you are pro-choice, pro-life, in favor of, or opposed to same-sex marriage, the OVERALL issues are PROTECTING our FREEDOMS, PRESERVING our CONSTITUTION, DECREASING the SIZE AND CONTROL of our federal government and REDUCING OUR NATIONAL DEBT to a level that will restore upward mobility to our children and grandchildren.

Simply put; the overreach of this administration into healthcare, small business, energy resources, the auto and financial industries represents a LOSS OF OUR PRECIOUS FREEDOMS.

AMERICA;

FREEDOM as we have known it, is eroding day-by-day. I ask you to vote for the fiscal conservative— who, as William Buckley said, is ELECTABLE . . .

THE STAKES ARE HIGH, AMERICA . . .

THIS election is about FREEDOM!

GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
