MR. PRESIDENT: SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY

On JULY 27, 2011, GENERAL ELECTRIC announced it was moving it’s 115-yr-old x-ray business from Waukesha, Wisconsin to – take a guess – Beijing, CHINA. The move, CNN’s Jack Cafferty reported, is just part of a plan by GE to invest $2 billion in China. Jeffery Immelt, CEO of General Electric, is one of President Obama’s 15 economic advisors. Furthermore, Jeffery Immelt is the Chairman of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

Yesterday, February 15th, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, President Obama stood in front of a crowd of workers, advocating for more 'insourcing' and encouraging corporations to bring manufacturing back to the USA.

The hypocrisy of the President's diatribe is astounding and blatant, not to mention that GE made $14.2 billion last year ($5 billion in the US) and thanks to ‘fancy footwork’ accounting, GE paid not one dime in income taxes

ATTENTION MR. PRESIDENT: The United States could really use GE’s $2 billion investment and the jobs it would restore. This would boost our economy and we would even let you credit the stimulus.

Stop the hypocrisy . . .

Say what you mean and mean what you say.

God Bless you and God Bless the United States of America.
