Brown won't get off 'Scott-free'

All the ironies of a compelling Greek tragedy are evolving in the state of Massachusetts.

Elizabeth Warren recently announced her candidacy for Massachusetts Senator.  Elizabeth Warren is a Democrat, and the odds are that it will be she who runs against Republican Senator Scott Brown for "the people's seat" vacated by the death of Ted Kennedy.

The irony is – it was Senator Scott Brown who gave the deciding 'closure vote' promoting the Dodd-Frank Financial Regulation Reform Bill to the floor for a vote.

It was Scott Brown's “No. 41' vote that passed the Dodd-Frank bill, elevating Elizabeth Warren to overseer of the Consumer Protection Agency, (the 400 million-dollar bureaucracy created with the Dodd-Frank Bill.)

Now, two years later, Elizabeth Warren returns to Massachusetts to haunt the likes of Senator Scott Brown with her C.P.A. credentials and ideology which are identical to President Obama’s.

She will campaign with a soft-spoken voice—that of your favorite second-grade teacher—but, in actuality, she resembles a pit bull dressed in a granny cardigan. She smiles constantly. She bases her campaign on wanting only to save and defend the middle class.

When announcing her Senate run, Ms. Warren said of the middle class, "they have been chipped at, hacked at and squeezed at for a generation . . . ‘cause Washington just doesn't get it . . ." Portraying herself as a Washington outsider is ludicrous; she is as much a Washington outsider as David Axelrod, Rahm Emmanuel or Bill Daley.

She is to Barack O'bama what Thelma was to Louise and  Bonnie was to Clyde. She is NO outsider. But she is taking a page out of Scott Brown's last campaign with her 'down home' persona. Rubin and Plouffe—her campaign advisers—are hell-bent to 'take back Scott Brown's seat in 2012.’

Senator Scott Brown had better put that Carhartt jacket back on and drive that pickup truck to remind the independents and the tea party people of Massachusetts that he has not fallen to the wayside with the likes of John McCain, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, our republicans in name only.

This campaign will be a tough one for Scott Brown, he will be depicted as 'too harsh' if he makes 'a sweet-little-ole grandmother accountable for more than half of the 608 regulations enacted in July, 2011. . . choking the life out of small business for all their worth . . .

The irony is, Brown’s vote for Dodd-Frank gave this “pit bull granny” the very credentials and political power she needed to take away his Senate seat in 2012!

God help the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

And God Bless the United States of America.

WELCOME TO VENEZUELA. . .

When you give a ten-year-old a dollar and he loses it, you do not give him another.

When you hand the keys over to your 17-year-old, and he “totals” the car, you do not loan him the car for the Prom.

When you hire a 30-year-old, and he is late every day of the week, you fire him.

Likewise, the U. S. Government has been over-indulging themselves for 30 years . . . at the taxpayers’ expense. The U.S. government has used OUR money to live way-too-well within the beltway; and, furthermore, has used OUR money for their re-election . . .with no accountability.

We watched the hysteria in September, 2008, preceding the first stimulus: Remember the words catastrophic, crisis, and calamitous depression and we handed over the money . . .

Welcome to Rahm Emmanuel. . . “Never waste a good crisis.”

Then, another 'shovel-ready' stimulus of $862 billion, and we were assured once again, that as long as we voted for the stimulus, the unemployment rate would NOT go above 8 percent . . . The unemployment rate is now 9.2 percent, with the under-employment rate at 16 percent . . .

Welcome to Wheel of Fortune . . .

For the first time in US history, we witnessed a U. S. corporation NOT uphold contractual law; and GM was handed over to the villains –the unions – who created its demise . . .

Welcome to Venezuela . . .

Thanks to Senator Scott Brown – his vote in favor for cloture and his 'yes' vote as No. 41 in the Senate, we allowed Dodd-Frank to compile a Financial Regulation Reform Act. Predictions are that this Act will close the doors of 100 banks before the end of 2012 . . .Please remember that Chris Dodd and Barney Frank were in charge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before their collapse in 2008 . . . Please remember it was Barney Frank who stood in front of a microphone from Washington in July of 2008 and said to the American public that both agencies were “rock-solid” and a “good investment.”

Welcome to reality TV . . .

Please keep in mind that the Financial Regulation Reform Act puts the unaccountable power in the hands of our US Banks in the hands of the Federal Reserve, the Treasury and our Executive Branch . . .

Welcome to Russia . . .

Thanks to Senator Scott Brown, Elizabeth Warren was handed 400 million dollars to create the largest bureaucracy in American history . . . She created the Consumer Protection Agency, which will chill the blood of small business with its over-regulation . . . and keep small business from expanding and hiring thus deterring the US GDP.

Last Friday, July 29th, 2011 GDP was down-graded to 1.3 percent. . .

Welcome to Dancing with the Stars . . .

This present administration has chosen to regulate what they cannot legislate, i.e., card check, EPA Carbon tax and immigration.

Welcome to Communist China . . .

Once again, I beg you to call your congressmen and senators (links provided on left.) and ask for a short-term extension for the debt ceiling and a balanced-budget amendment.

God Bless you and God Bless the United States of America.

WE LISTENED . . .

We listened . . .

You asked us to become educated, so we got educated.

We studied the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Crossing, and the Gettysburg Address . . .

We studied each one, and our appreciation grew with passion and intensity.

You asked us to march, and we marched. We travelled by tour busses, night trains, airplanes and carpools. We came to Washington for the 'surge' on Capitol Hill to voice our opposition to the government-takeover of our healthcare. We visited 31 congressional offices in one day. We left our jobs, our families, our responsibilities and went to Washington, so that you would hear our voices . . . "the republic for which it stands . . ."

Yes, you had awakened the sleeping giant; and we became soldiers to the cause of our freedom. We volunteered for 2010 candidates who were advocates of constitutionally-limited government. We licked stamps, we made phone calls, we attended rallies, and we held signs at 6 am in the freezing cold to encourage a vote for a conservative candidate who would return our country to the values our forefathers intended.

Yes, we had grown complacent and unaware . . . BUT WE ARE COMPLACENT AND UNAWARE NO LONGER.

We are on the move, like soldiers, our mission is clear. Our battle cry is freedom; our quest is to be heard.

NOW IT IS YOUR TURN TO LISTEN . . .

Our government spends with no accountability. The Post Office is $8.5 billion in debt, Amtrak is $2½ billion in debt, and Pell Grants are in the largest shortfall of Pell Grant history since the federal government took it over. We are spending millions every month for Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) without benefit for the housing market . . . and the list goes on and on.

PLEASE--for your children and grandchildrens' sake – pick up the phone and call your senator. Tell him or her you do not want any more backroom-deals, no new taxes and no more spending without a balanced budget amendment . . .

WE WERE PROMISED A MORE TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT, televised hearings, no more earmarks, NO more debt! ! !

Well, now hear us . . . this is not about being democrat or republican . . . this is about our countries best interest!

Please use the link on the left for Senators’ phone numbers .

GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA! ! ! !
